Dedication
Dedication
(Canaan Hymns no. 191, presented in an expedition)
Encountered how many hardships,
encountered how many sufferings,
travelling from north to south and south to north,
yet you have kept strong to your faith.
As long as God is pleased,
even with hairs turning white and wrinkles saturating on your faces,
there will still be sweetness in your hearts.
You have climbed the mountains in windy days
and swum through the rivers in cold weathers.
You have kept on going regardless of those tough journeys.
You are the travellers, you are the mountain climbers,
and you have dedicated yourselves silently,
with boldness you went for pioneering.
Life is short and you refuse to live in vain.
You have dedicated yourselves silently
and with boldness you went for pioneering.
